REGISTER
Go to Chatwing’s
homepage and open the registration form. You’ll only need a valid email and a
password to complete this task so it’s very easy. Don’t forget to check the
boxes below the form too, as it is also required.
DASHBOARD
Immediately
after completing the registration form, you’ll be redirected to the dashboard
page. This is where you can create a new chatbox that you will use later in
chatting with your friends. If you have checked all the boxes on the
registration form, then there should be one default chatbox already prepared
for you to use. Choose that one and head to the Customization page by pressing
the Customize button on the corresponding chatbox.
CUSTOMIZE
The
customization panel is the place to go if you want to modify your chatbox. It’s
separated into tabs and each one either modifies a specific part of it or
activates a certain feature of Chatwing.
Note: If you
have made changes on a certain tab, don’t forget to press the Save button found
below it. This will implement the new settings you’ve made.
When you’re done
customizing, press the Use button found on top of the Customization panel.
USING THE CHATBOX
By now, you
should be on the Embedding page. From here, you are to choose from the three
options the best way of utilizing Chatwing for yourself. Since you’re only
using it, there’s no need for the two other methods, Embedded Options and
Popout Options. Go with Group Chat URL.
From there, you
can see two URL’s – a long and a short one (Vanity URL). It’s preferred to use
to shorter one as it’s easier to memorize, but you can use the other one too.
The short URL can be changed according to your preferences in the customization
page. Now copy the URL you’ve chosen and paste it into your browser and wait
for the chatbox to show up. Now start inviting your friends over by giving them
the link for your chatbox and start chatting in no time!
