Are you looking for something girly to wear on a date with your significant other?

Here are some style ideas that you can get from Lee Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye) from the Korean Drama Series, Heartsrings. Lee Gyu Won wore a lot of skirts in the series, a few shorts and no pants at all. You can see her most of the time in a blouse + cardigan + long skirt + sandals combo.

Next, is the shirt + shorts/mini skirts + sandals combo.

Being comfortable on a date is very important, that's why it's alright if you'll leave your stilettos at home and wear a pair pretty sandals instead. This won't hurt your feet when you and your significant other decide to do some walking.

Are you thinking of getting long skirts and sandals too for your next date, visit Zalora Philippines! You can also Find women's tops at http://www.zalora.com.ph/women/clothing/tops/ .

Sometimes, I wish that I am waterproof. Most especially during that time of the year when Typhoons and floods are coming in.

Let's face the reality that we still have to go to work despite of the strong wind and heavy rain waiting for us outside our home. And if you take public transportation like me, you know that most of the time, you, will be soaking wet by the time you reached the office. Don't you just hate it?

What I hate the most is the fact that braving the hard rain can shorten the life of our favorite shoes. That's why I'm glad that Jelly Shoes came to my life.

I know some of us will not like the idea of wearing Jelly Shoes. You might think that your feet will smell bad or that it might be slippery. But for me, I think that they are one of the many solutions that will help me get through the rainy days.

The first batch of Jelly Shoes that went out a few years ago were a bit hard to wear because of their designs, but thank goodness they changed! The ones that I can see right now in the Metro's famous tiangges can be worn easily to match most of our outfits.

Here are some examples of the Jelly Shoes :

They now come in Animal Prints too! Rawr!

With Ribbons :)

This particular style is a cheaper. I believe they costs from P50 to P100 depending on where you'll buy it.

I don't think I'm going to wear one of these Jelly Boots. Coz I don't think I can pull it off.

This one is a bit hard to match with any outfit. Eto yung tipo ng may binabagayan talaga.
Just like the first boot.

This one I like :)

Again, this one is just like the first boot but on a different color. But still, this will not work for me.

I saw one of this, and hindi siya bagay sa paa ko unfortunately. Good thing I didn't buy one online.

Another example of may binabagayan. Remember : Not everything that looks good on your friend, will also be the same for you. Iba iba tayo, so make sure that you choose the ones na babagay sa inyo.

Bet ko rin to, but I will choose a different color.

I
I've seen girls wearing this kind of boots, and I think it looks good on them. Pero sakin malamang hindi, haha!

This one, I want!

Cute, but I think there's a lot going on.

This one is perfect if you're wearing a pair of shorts.

Sometimes when it's raining we usually just bring slippers then change and wear our shoes when we  arrive at our destination right? Pero minsan, nakakainis kasi makikita mo yung suot mo or yung legs mo ay may talsik ng putik dahil sa paglalakad mo using your slippers. (Raise your hand if nangyayari sayo to most of the time!)

So the jelly sandals above can prevent that. Di ka na magkakaroon ng badtrip na talsik sa likod ng legs mo!
I am planning to buy one like this in the coming days, pero plain lang. Without the design and the tassel.

Try to wear this one, baka ilipad ka pa kung traffic. Tipid pamasahe.

This lst one, di ko siya bet. Again, this will not look good on me.

So what do you think? Some of the designs will work for me and I love the idea that I can wear it during the rainy days without worrying that my shoes will be ruined. They actually don't smell bad, for me, that is. Been wearing them for almost a week now. So far they're ok :)

Just a tip, don't wear nail polishes when you are wearing closed Jelly Shoes, kasi since made of rubber sila, yung nail polish natin ay didikit dun sa rubber pag naglalakad tayo. Masisira lang. So if you are wearing a  nail polish, go for the jelly shoes' that are open toe.

Don't forget to leave me some comments below :) Let me know what you think about Jelly Shoes!

Summer is over and June is finally here. That means BACK TO SCHOOL people.

Honestly, are you guys excited to go back to school? While some of you are excited, there will be some who will definitely answer, “NOT”.  I used to hate school back then and I miss it now more than ever. So cherish the moment, kids.

Anyhoo, this post is for all you Estudyantes out there. Most of us, if not all, have uniforms. Grade School, High School, College Students and even some professionals have uniforms to wear all week long. Uniforms come in different shapes, colors, design, etc. And we must admit that some of them are dull and plain boring.

Worry not, coz I have a few tips on how you can spice up your uniforms.

1.       Change Hair Styles and Hair Accessories. Sporting different hairstyles and hair accessories during school days can instantly spice up your school uniform. Berets, headbands, ribbons and hair clips can do wonders not only for your uniforms but for some other outfits as well.

Gossip Girl's Queen Bee wearing her head bands to school. I wish I saw her when she went here.

2.       Add a Time Keeper.  Being fashionably late for school is not cool, not only because you’ll be in a bad spotlight on the class but also because you’ll never know what important information you’ll miss.  Worse, by the time that you arrived, your classmates are done with their pop quiz. So adding a Watch to your school uniform is like hitting two birds with one stone, style and time keeper.

When I was in High School, our School Directress does not allow us to wear watches. We totally understand her because she just wanted to protect us from snatchers.

3.       Bad Ass School Bag. When it comes to choosing your school bag, my advice is that, you choose something that will not give up on you when you need to carry all your bulky books plus rubber shoes, all in one day. As for the design, look for something that you can easily match with your School and P.E. Uniform.

Don't you just love a Jansport Bag when you are a High School student? I know I did, unfortunately, we aren't allowed to use backpacks.

4.       The School Shoes. When I was still in High School, we had a very strict policy when it comes to wearing our school uniforms and school shoes. We are only allowed to wear school shoes that are plain black, not two inches high and white plain socks that are higher than our ankles. When you are in college, it will be a lot different, because you can wear high heeled shoes (but black still, for most school), flats, etc. with or without socks on. If your school is not so strict and you think you can pull it off, you can go for colorful socks too!

I love wearing flats when I was in college, they are the best when you have to run from one class to the other.

But for the sexy kolehiyala look, go for stilettos. Good luck!

5.        Wear something over your uniform.  In the Philippines, June is the start of rainy season and wearing something over your uniform to protect you from the cold rain is important. Pick the ones that can complement the color of your uniform.

Just a few reminders to all our students, since most of us are on a tight budget, if you still have your pair of shoes from last year ‘s and are still wearable, don’t be shy to use them again, . Same goes to your bags and other accessories. Or if you really need to buy there are a lot of inexpensive bags, shoes and accessories all around the metro that you can buy, so you don’t have to spend that much. You don’t need to buy new  and expensive stuff just to become fashionable or stylish.

So are you ready for your first day high?
Good luck and have a great school year head!
