For celebrities the lifespan of how long the brightness of
their stars will last is finite. For most of them, the only thing left to do is
to just accept this fact and move on. But for those who struggle to cling to
stardom, one of the best ways to keep their fire burning is for them to
reinvent themselves.
However, the process of reinventing oneself is extremely
difficult. The easiest and most obvious thing to change first is in the
physical aspect. But whether it’s through plastic surgery or just a wardrobe
makeover, there are certain celebrities that leave a lasting impression when
they tried to reinvent themselves.
Today, we’ll be looking at some famous showbiz personalities that blew our heads away when the curtains were raised after their
transformations. If you’re all set, let’s begin.
Angelica Panganiban
Angelica Panganiban is considered as one of today’s most
alluring stars, having been already featured in several movies with matured
roles such as that of Santa Santita and Ruby. But before all that Angelica use
to play the roles of cute little princesses or teeny bopper adolescents in puppy
love.
Ricky Rivero is an actor/director that made a name in the
80s and 90s. He only played minor roles next to showbiz heavyweights, and his
roles are usually that of a homosexual rich guy or movie director/producer. But
what shocked the world when he came back in the showbiz industry a few years
ago was his amazing transformation from a man weighing 334 lbs to just 164 lbs.
Aiza Seguera started her career as a contestant in Eat Bulaga’s
Little Miss Philippines. Even though she didn’t win, Aiza’s career didn’t end
there. Instead she was casted in Okay Ka, Fairy Ko and other movies as Vic
Sotto’s daughter. But a few years back, Aiza surprised everyone when she step
out of the stage with a new look and admitting that she’s dating another girl.
Jacqueline Oda Santillan AKA Jinky Oda
Jinky Oda played the part of Bale in the 1980s highly successful fantasy-comedy series Okay Ka, Fairy ko! as well as other supporting roles in various movies and TV shows.
Back in the days, she was most prominent in the shows she was featured because of her dark skin color, but she wowed the industry when she returned a few years ago with a whiter complexion thanks to the miracle of science through Glutathione.
She is now an endorser of a popular brand of whitening products .
Jinky Pacquiao was just an ordinary housewife from General
Santos when Manny Pacquiao started his career as a professional boxer. And just
like any other housewife, she’s very simple, but that was until she met Dr.
Vicky Belo. Right after that, she slowly started shedding her plain simple
housewife look and traded it for a new look worthy of a Desperate Housewife.
Charice Pempengco rose to stardom when she was featured in
several international shows like the Ellen de Generes Show and the Oprah
Winfrey Show. During that time, she was still sporting a young and innocent
teenage girl look, but recently, she showed up on a press conference with an
entirely new look which was further emphasized when she started judging on
X-Factor Philippines.
Rustom Padilla
Rustom Padilla came from a very famous showbiz family of
machos and action stars. And during the first parts of his career, he followed
the family tradition and entered the showbiz industry as a matinee idol and occasional
action star until he decided to migrate to the US after he called it quits with
wife Carmina Villaroel. When he returned a few years ago as part of the Pinoy
Big Brother Celebrity edition reality show, Rustom arrived looking amazingly
thin.
As the show progressed, Rustom opened up to the public about
his true sexuality which explains why he tried to change his physical body. But
Rustom’s transformation didn’t end when PBB ended. Instead, he was just
beginning. A few months later, he shocked the entire community when he did a
total makeover and become Bibi Gandanghari.
