CANON CAMERAWINDOW APP
This app allows your Wi-Fi- or NFC- enabled Canon camera to conveniently transfer photos you have taken into a compatible smartphone or tablet, so you can easily share these images to your friends via your favorite social networks.
The CameraWindow app also allows users to remotely control their cameras using their smart device. The app instantly transforms a tablet or smartphone into a remote shutter giving users the capability to control their camera and its settings including shutter release, optical zoom and flash straight from their gadgets.
Moreover, the app can put GPS information into users photos by using the data from the smartphone or tablet and embedding it into the images.
CANON IMAGE GATEWAY
Now for an even more convenient way of uploading photos to the internet, there’s the Canon Image Gateway feature. Unlike the CameraWindow app, CiG gives users the ability to post images or videos straight to their social networks.
Canon camera owners are given two options: first, they can upload their photos and videos to their social networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr or Google Drive and second they can create an online album after registering a device.
