Nuvali and its Eco Living Concept

The busy and sometimes stressful streets and alleys of Manila can oftentimes be overwhelming and people are always looking for getaways to help ease out the stress. For those born in the metro or for those who have lived long enough in Manila, having that quiet and peaceful neighborhood to work and live in is the ultimate dream.

Well it’s very fortunate that there are a lot of people who think the same. And the best part about it is that some of these people are in the field of real estate development; and somewhere in the south, they’ve transformed a piece of land into an amazing facility where nature and people coexist harmoniously, and it’s called Nuvali.

Nuvali is 1700 hectare property developed by Ayala Land and is located in the cities of Sta. Rosa, Calamba and the municipality of Cabuyao in Laguna. And is the perfect place for those looking for some R&R or just a quick break from the hustle and bustle of city living.

It’s very close and accessible, it’s approximately 40 kilometers away from Makati (around 50 minutes travel time) and 25 kilometers from Alabang (30 minutes travel time) so it will be very convenient for weekend travellers. And on top of that, the property features several attractions and facilities that make it a hit destination for people living in nearby areas.

For those looking for some adventure, Nuvali offers several activities to keep you busy and active. For starters, the complex is lined with a trail system for off-road biking and running activities. The trails stretch for about 50 kilometers and offer an amazing view of Mount Makiling, the Laguna Lake and the Tagaytay Ridge. There are also four-cross and pump bike tracks for enthusiasts who are interested to practice and hold events.

There is also a 10-hectare open area where three FIFA-sized football fields, as well as 2 baseball fields, 3 sand volleyball courts and a multi-use reception facility is located. Moreover, there is a 17-kilometer long buffer green and forest zone throughout the development that strives to preserve the natural flora and fauna of the area. A biking and jogging trail system along with a gazebo is placed within this area to help educate visitors in the preservation of the developments natural surroundings.

And on top of it all, Nuvali features a 4-hectare multi-functional lake where you can ride a water taxi for around 30 pesos per head for one round trip or feed the lake’s massive population of carp. There is also a 3-hectare tree nursery and demo farm where visitors can help pick vegetables and where organic farming lectures are held.

For people who are more serious in making all these activities a permanent part of their lives, Nuvali being a property developed by Ayala Land offers a variety of housing options which includes several villages and communities for sale.

And if you’re wondering if moving to Nuvali will not be as convenient as living in Manila, then you better think again. Aside from residential offerings, the development also features a growing list of commercial establishments where people can dine, shop and work.

For shopaholics and foodies, Nuvali’s Solenad 1 and 2 are packed with a multitude of different restos and shops which include Yellow Cab Pizza, Italianni’s Brother’s Burger, Starbucks coffee, Gerry’s Grill, Hush Puppies, Army Navy, Nine West, Pancake House, Payless, Krispy Kreme, Aldo and Serenitea to name a few.

It also has its own business district. Lakeside Evozone is a massive area of the development dedicated to catering the business needs of the community. This area is where offices of multinational companies such as Convergys Sta. Rosa are located. Offices and hotels are also scheduled to be built in this area in the coming years so it’s expected that more job and business opportunities will be available within the area.

So if you’re looking for a place to build your dreams or if you’re just looking for a place where you can relax and have fun for a day without spending too much, you might want to check out Nuvali and its attractions.
