Going to school is one of those things in life that we can’t
forget even as we age. We learned a lot from school, met a lot of friends and
grew and matured as people.
Aside from the lessons that teachers preach in school, the
friends we’ve earned or the experiences we’ve remembered, there are quite a few
things that still put a smile on our faces whenever we reminisce about our
childhood days. One of them is the things we or our classmates brought to
school.
The stuff of envy of children of our days, in one point or
another, you or your classmates have dreamt of having these stuffs every
morning when they go to school.
The stroller bag is on top of the list. When every kid in
your school has a backpack, having a bag with wheels you can pull around is
like having an iphone when everyone else has a Nokia 3310.
Lunch boxes are also popular among school boys and girls. But
during the 90s (or 80s if you’re older), lunch boxes come in interesting
packages. Lunchboxes are not just a container where your mom can put your “baon”
but are toys in themselves. Some of them have cartoon character stickers, some
are shaped like our favorite cartoon or comic book characters while some of
them require a special placement combination before you can open them.
Sharpener Free pencil and special erasers are also a novelty
back in the days. One way or another you’ve owned (or at least have seen) this
kind of pencil that doesn’t need a sharpener. Instead, it has lead bullets that
you load into the pencil.
There’s also a special eraser that goes hand in hand with
this kind of pencil. This special eraser not only features the eraser itself,
but comes with a roller that helps remove rubber remnants after using the
eraser.
There is also a super pencil case you can use with the
sharpener free pencil and the special eraser. If you’re using a pencil case
made out of tin can or fabric, this super pencil case must surely been a wonder
to behold for your eyes.
This pencil case is full of contraptions and hidden
compartments for your eraser, pencils, pens, sharpeners, etc.
Lastly, owning a pair of blinker shoes is the best way to
know the decade when you were born. I don’t know about other people, but it was
only in the 90s that children wore these outlandish foot wear with lights.
And
for sure, at one point in your life, you had or you wished you had one of
these. J
